Identifying this thought when I was thirty something literally changed my entire life.
Until then, being a young business manager, I used up an enormous amount of energy... and very often in vain to try and change the others.
Amongst the 30 people I was responsible for, I wanted those habitually arriving late to come on time; I wanted the lazy ones working as hard as possible; I wanted the two alcoholics to stop drinking and I even tried to convert the dishonest ones...
